Description: He is an average looking western male in his early mid-life. He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Efferil was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He has styled his chestnut hair well, parting it to the left. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Arannis wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Arannis was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He became a Locksmith soon after.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
