Personality: He is a Shipwright first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Shipwright but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Lamlis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Lamlis. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and doesn't want to be a ploughman and was forced into it by his family
