He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Merchant. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Merchant for the past few years.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Map Maker arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. History: Born in the east to a Fletcher, Varis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He struck the Fletcher job and began his own company from there.
