History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bowyer. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Beiro grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Beiro. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Mindartis was born with his mother's beautiful face. At some point he was captured by goblins and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
