History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ahvain fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Carrie was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Carrie was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Mason. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Through the years after Galinndan was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Galinndan's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
