History: Uthemar was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. During his travels, Laucian and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Laucian discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Laucian fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and an old rival family wants him found
