History: He comes from a rich western family. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Eiravel grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Eiravel. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: He was born in the north. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and many illithids want him driven away
