History: Mindartis hails from a village terrorized by goblins. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
