History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: Theriatis is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Theriatis was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Weaver arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
