He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Elven culture. He has all his life been fascinated with poetry.

History: Thervan was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. Being a Ruler kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored.
