History: Born in the east to a Spice Merchant, Uthemar learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To be a Tanner again; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: He stands about 5'5" and wears a tan cloak and cross-gartered brown stockings. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. With bright auburn hair and a scraggly beard. His brown eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Uthemar is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Uthemar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Korfel was born with his mother's beautiful face. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Body Guard and was forced into it by his family; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: Rolen hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Rolen was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.
