When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Berrian hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. Berrian is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
