History: Born in the west to a Body Guard, Varis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. A friendly and beautiful Elf, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
