History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Banker. He's also a talented Barrister, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. He has a very tight haircut. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are amber.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Nim embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nim grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nim. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He became a Farmer soon after.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and to reunite with his absent mother

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he wants revenge against gnolls
