Personality: Paelias wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born to a Cartwright, his father struggled to pay the bills. Through the years after Paelias was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Paelias's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
