History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Efferil was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Efferil abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Paelias embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he is wearing a long, brown, dusty cloak. He has wavy brown hair. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Engraver born in the past three hundred years. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He got into the Engraver business at a young age. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Engraver work with an outfit from a few towns over. Engraver work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. During his travels, Naill and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Naill discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Naill fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Barrister who has hired him part-time. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Thamior was born the youngest of three triplets. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Stableman for the past few years.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and doesn't want to be a stableman and was forced into it by his family
