Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. The war was a terrible time for him, and Berrian does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When Berrian reached his early adolescence his Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Gifted from a young age, Lamlis studied abroad. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and obtaining odd cultural elven artifacts is his passion

History: Dayereth lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To be a Marshal again; and regain custody of his daughter

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he has decided he is irredeemable
