History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At some point he was captured by orcs and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He bought a shortspear and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Description: A moderately attractive man, he is wearing a long, brown, dusty cloak. His hair is cut close to his head. His gray eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Miner born in the past three hundred years. A true patriot, Uthemar would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Uthemar was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Miner. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Layabout arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears skinny pants and wears a white and brown robe with the hood down. He is bald on top and has large white tufts of hair around his ears. His eyes are a pleasant amber.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nim grew up listening to his father's many stories. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
