To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nutae. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Architect.

Personality: He is a Tanner first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. The war was a terrible time for him, and Erdan does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Tanner arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He tends to his Tanner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
