History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.
