His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting goblins, the young Raer began to lead the lost caravan. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

History: Heian was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Description: This younger middle-aged man does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it, and a wedding ring on his left hand. His red hair is heavily combed to the left. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Fivin reached his early adolescence his Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was granted druidic powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: He is a physically imposing light-skinned man. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His eyes are violet and beady.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and to get a good night's sleep
