Description: An older man who dresses in white turtlenecks beneath a brown coat with black slacks, he is not a threatening figure. He is bald on top and has large blonde tufts of hair around his ears. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. One day when Quarion was young, his mother was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his mother dropped to the ground dead. His mother had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Quarion was heart-stricken from the event, and his father started working long hours to provde for them. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Rolen lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Enialis hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and many brigands want him driven away
