History: Paelias was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Paelias was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Theriatis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it; and revenge

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Map Maker arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
