Aelar's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Aelar and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born in the north. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
