Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature warhammer.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Theren. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Engraver for hire.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.
