History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His first spouse was a Tanner, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. A gifted student he started as a Mercenary, but he got bored and became a Detective. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature kukri.

When Ahvain reached his early adolescence his Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying west to reunite his family. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
