History: Born in the west to a Sage, Theriatis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Theriatis was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Healer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Healer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers.
