History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. At some point he was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

After months of barely getting by, Lucan managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.
