History: He was raised in a plains tribe. After coming to the age of reason, Peren took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying west to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
