History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Peren's homeland. Peren decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
