History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Nim was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He's also a talented Merchant, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Fivin hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Fivin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Fivin was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.
