Description: His right side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears a blue vest and prefers black and white shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His silver hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a card scrunchie. He has several tiny jet earrings on each ear.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Rolen grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rolen. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the south. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Adran lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
