History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Varis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the north were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.
