History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: Raer wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to giants.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
