His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his gray eyes.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Ruler profession.

History: Thervan was born with his father's beautiful face. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Barber born in the past three hundred years. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gifted student he started as a Interpreter, but he got bored and became a Barber. He's also a talented Interpreter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
