History: Born in the south to a Weaver, Nim learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Weaver and found it very stressful. He now owns his own business.

Personality: He is a Bather first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bather work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bather work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Rolen grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rolen. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: This man loves dancing and to teach people dancing more than just about anything. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gennal is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
