Description: A middle-aged man, he wears grey robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a quarterstaff, but if one is not available he will default to his greatsword, and is pretty ugly. His red hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep blue.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He can't help but pocket interesting objects he comes across

History: Theriatis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Theriatis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Theriatis. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His hair is brown and very short. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and he is greedy

Description: The dark-skinned man stands 5'1" and wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with tan colored cloaks and clothing. His red hair is greasy and uncared for. His gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and seeks redemption

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Peren was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: Paelias was born with his mother's beautiful face. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.
