Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: Varis was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Soveliss was born with his father's beautiful face. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
