History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Rael grew up listening to his father's many stories. He always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rael fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Born in the west to a Bather, Gennal learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Bather. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and further expansion of business
