History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and wants to work out more often

History: Thervan was raised in a hard working conservative environment. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He bought a bastard sword and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
