When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Actor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Varis was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Engraver. He bought a monstrous two handed axe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Elves.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. After a long history of fighting, Naal and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Elven people.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
