History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Heian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He's also a talented Barrister, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Hadarai was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Hadarai has worked very hard to control his curse. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.
