History: Heian hails from a village terrorized by giants. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Heian was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

History: Aust was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
