Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. After coming to the age of reason, Berrian took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. After a long history of fighting, Berrian and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Varis was born with his father's beautiful face. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Doctor but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he feels kind of lost in life
