Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Born to a Guard, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Vanuath never married again. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
