History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born in the east to a Beggar, Vanuath learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A freak accident while working with his Guard father left him crippled. He tends to his Beggar job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Laucian fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
