Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he dresses like a well dressed Sage does. His head has been shaved. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sage. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Description: He likes to wear grey tank tops with brown pants, and he perpetually has his scythe ready. His golden hair has been sun bleached extensively. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Unemployed arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was born into a rich family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Description: This slender man stands about 5'4". He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. He keeps his black hair in a flapper bob. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are blue.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Mindartis will drive conversation. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Mindartis lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. After a long history of fighting, Mindartis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: Rael is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it
