He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. After months of barely getting by, Himo managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.
