History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Korfel grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. During his travels, Korfel and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Korfel discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Korfel fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.
