Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Shepherd they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Soapmaker, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is stubborn though. History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Raer grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food.
